Does it cost anything to become an Affiliate?

There is no charge to apply, and there is no minimum referral requirement or quota you must reach before earning referral fees with our program. You start earning right away. Please refer to the affiliate terms and privacy for additional information.

Can I participate in your affiliate program if I live outside the United States?

No. Our affiliate program is currently only available to participants located in the United States.

Can I become an Affiliate even though I don't have a website yet?

No. We require a URL (for example http://www.yoursite.com) on all applications. The website must be an active one, not simply a place-holder on a server; we need to be able to access an active website to review it for objectionable content at the time of the application. If you apply with an inactive website or one that we cannot access, your application will be rejected. Also, we cannot accept applications for linking solely from social media platforms.

What is your policy for accepting applicants?

You must maintain an active, reviewable, well designed, English language website with at least one linking page, which does not contain links to or content with objectionable material. We cannot accept applications for linking from social media platforms only. We will reject applications made for sites which contain pornography, explicit language, or which promote illegal activities, violence, hate, discrimination or anti-Christian causes. ALL applications are manually reviewed and excepted or rejected.

How old do I have to be?

The minimum age for Affiliates is 18 years old.

What will disqualify me from the Affiliate Program?

The following will disqualify your application:

  • Sites which contain objectionable material, content, links, graphics, or text.
  • Sites which contain pornography, explicit language, or which promote illegal activities, violence, hate, discrimination or anti-Christian causes.
  • Content or services that are unrelated or fail to compliment the products on our site (such as “money-making programs” or “link farms.
How do I get started?
Can I have more than one website?

Yes, you may participate in our Affiliate Program through multiple websites. If you want to track the performance of each website separately, contact the affiliate admin to request the number of unique tracking IDs you would like. You can then use each tracking ID to measure the performance of a different site and promotional strategy.

Can I use a web site name or format that is similar to DIYHomeSeller.US for my website?

No. The Affiliate shall not develop, maintain or operate the Affiliate website in any manner as to copy or resemble the appearance of the DIYHomeSeller.US or 247OpenHOuse.US website or as to create the impression that the Affiliate website is part of the DIYHomeSeller.US or 247OpenHOuse.US website or that the Affiliate website is owned, operated or maintained byDIYHomeSeller.US or 247OpenHOuse.US.

Can I use the product images, reviews or copy that is on DIYHomeSeller.US for my website?

Yes, within the limits set forth in the Affiliate Program Agreement terms and privacy.

Can I use Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising to drive traffic to my website?

Affiliates can bid on certain PPC words, however they should advertise their site, not ours. For instance, it should not say “DIYHomeSeller.US or 247OpenHOuse.US” in the description or have a link that goes directly to our site. It should be noted that we will not reimburse or pay for any bids placed on any type of PPC advertising or any other type of advertising. Also, affiliates are not allowed to bid on our name or variations of it (DIYHomeSeller.US, 247OpenHouse.US, etc.)

What about using spiders?

The Affiliate shall not “spider” or “crawl” the DIYHomeSeller.us or 247OpenHouse.US website(s) or use any other program, device, script or tool to monitor or explore the DIYHomeSeller.us or 247OpenHouse.US website(s) in order to retrieve information or content contained on the DIYHomeSeller.us or 247OpenHouse.US websites. 247OpenHouse LLC shall have the right to “spider” or “crawl” the Affiliate website or use any other program, device, script or tool to monitor or explore the Affiliate website in order to ensure the quality and reliability of the links and the Affiliate’s compliance with the terms of the Agreement. The Affiliate shall take no action to block, impede, or interfere with such monitoring and exploring of the Affiliate website by 247OpenHouse LLC.

Who is responsible for the maintenance of the web site and its links?

The Affiliate is solely responsible for the ownership, development, operation, and maintenance of the Affiliate website and all software and hardware used in connection therewith.

What will disqualify me from the Affiliate Program?

The following will disqualify your application:

Our Relationship

What is my responsibility as an Affiliate of DIYHomeSeller.US?

You’re responsible for the links and content about our products that you add to your website. Since we’re continually updating our site, we recommend that you check all your links to DIYHomeSeller.US about once a month to make sure that they’re all current and in good working order. DIYHomeSeller.US is not responsible for lost affiliate commissions due to an improperly installed affiliate link(s).

What is DIYHomSeller's responsibility?

We’ll provide you with the tools and encouragement you need to add e-commerce to your website. We process, fill and ship your visitors’ orders, and take care of customer service. We track the orders referred by your website and pay you a fee for your referrals. When your visitors click through links on your website and become our customers, we reserve the right to market to them. We will not report back to you about the specifics of these customers and their orders.

How do I describe my Affiliate relationship with DIYHomeSeller.US on my website?

We’re proud of our relationship with each of our Affiliates, and encourage them to download our logo and build links to our website. When you become an Affiliate, you’ll want to mention that your website is “an Affiliate of DIYHomeSeller.US.” For legal reasons we ask that you do not say that you “work for DIYHomeSeller.US” or are “part of DIYHomeSeller.US” or it parent company “247OpenHouse.US.”This could lead to confusion over issues like sales tax collection, so for a variety of legal reasons it’s important that the Affiliate relationship be accurately described on your website.

Will DIYHomeSeller.US promote my website?

While we wish you the best in your online endeavors, we are unable to promote our Affiliates’ websites. We will, however, provide you with all the tools and graphics you need to help make your website a success.

Can DIYHomeSeller.US modify the Affiliate Program Agreement at any time?

DIYHomeSeller.US reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify and amend the Affiliate Agreement in any manner at any time by posting a change notice or new agreement on DIYHomeSeller.US, or by emailing the Affiliate with a change notice or new agreement at the email address provided by the Affiliate as part of the application process whenever possible. Your continued participation in the DIYHomeSeller.US Affiliate Program constitutes your acceptance of any modified agreement.

What about terminating the Affiliate relationship?

DIYHomeSeller.US and the Affiliate are free to terminate the relationship at any time for any reason. If you decide that you no longer want to be an Affiliate, just notify us via email.

Can Affiliates also have links to other websites in addition to DIYHomeSeller.US?

We do not require that you have an exclusive relationship with us.

Will I ever receive communications from DIYHomeSeller.US?

Yes, we occasionally send communications to our affiliates notifying them of upcoming promotions and changes to procedures or administration in the affiliate program. By becoming an affiliate, you consent to receive electronic communications from DIYHomeSeller.US in the form of an email sent to your email address. You also acknowledge and agree that any electronic communication in the form of such email or posting on the DIYHomeSeller.US website shall satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.

Receiving your Fees & Payments

How does an affiliate website get credit for referring a customer to DIYHomeSeller.US?

When a customer clicks to DIYHomeSeller.US via a link that you have created using our Affiliate Link Builder, the browsing session is activated. Each time that the customer clicks on the website the session is reactivated. DIYHomeSeller.US will track products purchases that a customer makes during the browsing session so that we can credit your account appropriately.

The browsing session will remain active for twenty-four (24) hours after the last link is clicked on the DIYHomeSeller.US website. If the customer leaves the DIYHomeSeller.US website and returns within this twenty-four (24) hour period their browsing session will be reset and the customer will still be deemed a referral of Affiliate unless they returned through the links of another Affiliate, co- branded site or other source tracked by DIYHomeSeller.US

What happens to orders that are placed through inactive affiliate links or after the 24 hour browsing session time period has expired?

Any order placed under these circumstances will not be credited to the affiliate account. DIYHomeSeller.US is not responsible for any commissions lost.

Can affiliates refer themselves and earn commission on their own purchases?

Yes. We believe it is in the best interest of our affiliates to be users of our products and services they help to promote.Using a product you love and have had success with each much easier to sell to others with similar interests.

Can an affiliate take an order on their website and just send the information to DIYHomeSeller.US?

No. Due to constantly changing inventory, fluctuating prices and the nature of our order processing procedures, it’s more efficient and avoids confusion if we process and fill orders directly on our website.

Are there any other times when an order will not receive affiliate fee credit?

Affiliate commission credit is based on the “Net Sales Price” which is the gross revenue less sales taxes, other taxes, shipping fees, handling fees, service charges, returns, and other charges incurred by the Customer.

How much do DIYHomeSeller.US affiliates get paid?

Commission payment is based on a percentage of net product sales per product. Once your application is approved we will pay up to 20% on all our products.

How are commissions paid?

Affiliates can choose to be paid by digital transfer of funds from Strip, PayPal, or Bitcoin. Payments are made each month, providing the Affiliate has earned at least $20.00 in commissions.

Which products qualify?

All products are eligible for earning commission. Product returns will be debited from your account. Commissions are not paid on shipping, taxes, memberships, imprinting and gift certificates

Are there minimum affiliate commission amounts for a direct deposit transfer?

Yes. Commissions of $20 or more: Affiliate commissions are paid on a monthly basis for all accounts with monthly commission of $20 or more. Commissions of less than $20: For affiliates with monthly commission of less than $20, the commission payment will be carried forward to the next month’s pay period until such time as total commissions are $20 or more.

Can an account be deactivated?

If an affiliate has NOT earned at least $20 in affiliate commissions during the preceding 12 months then this account will be considered an inactive affiliate account and will be closed. A commission for any remaining commissions earned at that point will be forwarded to the affiliate.

Can I keep track of how much I am earning?

Sure. You can log into your Affiliate Area anytime to track your earnings.

What if one of the customers I refer returns their order?

If a customer you referred to us cancels their order meeting our terms and conditions, we’ll deduct this sale from your affiliate reports and you will not earn a commission on that sale. If you do not earn a commission during the next month, we will carry over that commission debit until it is paid.

Will DIYHomeSeller.US send me a 1099?

No. DIYHomeSeller.US’s parent company 247OpenHouse LLC will send you a 1099.

Can an affiliate use PayPal, Strip, or Bitcoin to receive my affiliate commissions?

Yes. We can pay commissions via PayPal, Strip, or our preferred method Bitcoin.

How is an affiliate tracked?

When an affiliate promotes our products and services they use a referral URL which typically looks like this:

When a customer clicks this link and lands on our website, the affiliate’s ID (123 in the example above) is stored in a cookie, within the customer’s browser. If the customer makes a purchase, the affiliate that the customer is tracking is awarded commission on the sale.

How long does the tracking cookie stay in the customer's browser?

The cookie’s expiration is twenty-four (24) hours. A user may clear their browser cookies at any time, in which case the affiliate will no longer be tracked.

If a customer clicks on 2 different affiliate links from 2 different affiliates, which one is saved?

The last affiliate link referring the customer will be stored the affiliate’s ID in a cookie until the cookie expires, is replaced by another affiliate link,.or the customer clears their browser cookie.

Is the affiliate tracked across all pages of the website?

Absolutely! Since the affiliate’s ID is stored in a cookie, the affiliate is tracked across all pages on the website.

Who is responsible for the maintenance of the website and its links?

The Affiliate is solely responsible for the ownership, development, operation, and maintenance of the Affiliate website and all software and hardware used in connection therewith.

If a customer clicks on an affiliate link and uses a coupon assigned to that affiliate, does the affiliate receive double referrals?

No, the coupon will always <u>win</u>, including if it is assigned to a different affiliate. The affiliate assigned to the coupon or discount code will always receive the referral, regardless if an affiliate link was used.

Can an affiliate create a coupon code?

Yes, but not directly. An affiliate can request a coupon code to be created by the Affiliate Admin as long as the same code being requested is not already in use by another affiliate.

Can affiliates refer themselves and earn commission on their own purchases?
Yes. We believe it is in the best interest of our affiliates and encourage them to be users of our products and services they help to promote. The deeper the understanding of the product being promoted the easier it is for an affiliate to share their experiences with others and earn commission at the same time.
